When it comes to hazardous substances, dangerous goods and cooling lubricants then you have come to the right place! Since the formation of eska, we have been developing standard and customized application software for these areas and have years of experience in its implementation into the operational processes.
The programs are used for the creation and management of EC material safety data sheets. The structured design of the data allows the user of hazardous substances a systematic evaluation and preparation of company-specific documents. With the integrated standard data records, material safety data sheets can be generated at the touch of a button in various European languages. Thus the basis for an electronic exchange format for safety data sheets (EDAS) was laid. In 1994, the EDAS-working group was established with representatives of major companies. The results are available in the PAS 1046 and thus can be used by all companies.
The areas of hazardous substances and dangerous goods have many similarities. Hence, we had an early start with the development of an accident procedure sheet generator (UMI). It allows the user to create accident procedure sheets or TREMCARDS in all ADR languages. As a result of legal innovations, the program has been continuously developed and today it is available as Dangeroo, with which all transport documents for road, sea and air transport can be created.
In addition, we offer services in these areas such as project management, analyses, consulting and trainings. Our clients include major companies from the automotive industry, chemical industry, shipping industry as well as shipyards and wind turbine manufacturers.
In the field of cooling lubricants, we have focused our activities on the internet based KSS portal, which we run jointly with the Institute for Occupational Health and Safety of the German statutory accident insurance institutions (IFA).
